I moved to Eden Medical four years ago, believing they offered a better service than my doctors practise at the time. Over the years I have been lucky enough not to need to visit the doctors often up until recently. I am absolutely disgusted by the way I have been treated by two of the doctors in this practice. I explained my symptoms and the doctor basically said my symptoms could be many things and that I should learn to deal with it - I left the surgery crying I was made to feel like some kind of fraud. My symptoms got worse so I made another appointment with a different doctor. The doctor came out and called my name, didn't look at me once - just at the computer screen and said if I felt no better in three months to go back and make another appointment and prescribed me antidepressants - even though I am not depressed. This seems to be the general trend at Eden Medical, just prescribe antidepressants for everything. The doctor didn't even say goodbye or anything - there was just silence for a few minutes and I took that as my cue to leave. Needless to say, I ripped my prescription up as soon as I got out the door. I don't need to be spoken to or treated like I am an inconvenience to you. This is the worst surgery with the worst doctors that I have come across. I would honestly say that if you are considering joining Eden Medical - don't. Trying to get through to make an appointment is a nightmare, the patient access website hardly ever has any appointments before 2 weeks. When you do finally get to see some of the doctors, you realise that they actually do not care at all

We have only been attending this surgery since September 16 but the warmth of most of the staff both on the floor and on the telephone on a whole deserve ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. The only downside we have come across is the time it takes to get through on the telephone. But if we really need to speak to someone then we just jump in the car and go down to the surgery. The doctors and nurses are friendly also very efficient in doing their jobs. We are so pleased we chose this surgery. A big thank you to everyone who works at the Eden Medical Group.

I visited the Well pharmacy today to pick up my prescription . I was told it wasn't through yet and to pop to the gp reception to see if it had gone through. I asked at the gp reception and the receptionist said it would take up to 4 days to process I explained I had ordered it online over 2 days ago . She said there was nothing she could do and I was 1 of 38,000 patients her manner was abrupt and I felt extremely embarrassed and I left. I went back after 5 minutes and explained I had no further medication and could I speak to a manager she said there was no manager and she and her colleague rang the dr to ask if they could sign a prescription form . Again I felt embarrassed because she was laughing on the phone . I thanked her for her help but I could have cried how she made me feel . I never went to see the doctor when I was pregnant . I always try and avoid taking my baby to the doctors I take him to the pharmacist to avoid using the doctors unnecessary. I feel I needed to write something because I work in the NHS and if I made a patient feel like this I would be ashamed of myself.

I visited the health care assistant on 10th of October for blood test because I am diabetic. The health assistant was very helpful and then told I would have to make an other appointment for my results plus other checks. When leaving the room I tried to make a new appointment but the receptionist was having trouble with the computer system so l decided to phone later. It took 2 weeks checking on line and phoning before I got any chance of a new appointment. The problem I have is a work in penrith and I have no spare days left to coming during the day so I need a late appointment, but the receptionist was so obnoxious and said it was my responsibility to look after my own. Well I have and my average blood sugar for about 35 years has been 6.5 to 7. I don't need some obnoxious over rated clerical worker telling me what to do. It's not her job to do so. I am still unable to get a late appointment and again I receive a letter about having blood tests. Please can someone sort this out so I can find out my blood results. I await your reply if nothing is received I will consider going to the Health Authority .
